Balance on your surfboard and in Life!

Over the last decade in talking with 100’s of women about their lives, I’ve found their common desire is “to achieve balance in their life”. Balance is an innate desire; every one of your trillion cell’s intelligence, our mind, body and spirit are all working together on creating homeostasis, complete balance, every moment of each day.

With family demands, careers, aging parents and home, all needing our attention, we aren’t able to feel this way. But why do we ignore and not pay more attention to this inner need and desire? I can hear some of you now…”they’re my priorities…my kids come first…” Yes, they are, and I can’t imagine where the world and society would be without women contributing so much of themselves.

But now imagine awakening each day to a delightful self care routine that not only nourishes you and your own personal balance, but also offers this to your family, your work, and your community in a way that all prosper. Now you’re talking truth…when your life is in balance the whole world becomes in balance. Surfing is just a wonderful part of this journey…a contributor to your inner connectedness, your inner state of balance. I invite you to begin now! Listen to what serves you and follow that lead. Let go of that which doesn’t. Then notice the space you’ve created where balance can be.
